QA Engineer
About The Position
Jifiti is a leading global fintech company that powers white-labeled embedded lending solutions for leading banks, lenders and merchants, including Mastercard, Citizens Bank, FIS, Finastra, Ingenico, IKEA and others worldwide.
We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our Gifting team, which is building a top-notch gifting solution. In this role, you will lead QA operations, drive innovation, and develop advanced AI-powered automation processes.
As part of our fast-paced, agile team, you will design, plan, and implement comprehensive automated test suites. If you are eager to learn and apply emerging AI automation techniques, and you bring sharp attention to detail along with strong UI/UX testing skills, we’d love to have you on board.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute automated tests using Playwright and similar frameworks with Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration, creating tests from plain‑language descriptions that AI tools can convert into executable scripts.
- Perform thorough UI testing across multiple browsers and devices to validate user experience and interface functionality across integrated web platforms.
- Collaborate with the development team to embed quality assurance processes throughout the software development lifecycle and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
- Continuously learn, adopt emerging AI and lead automation innovations to refine Jifiti’s gifting testing processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven experience in software quality assurance – must (Fintech domain is advantage)
- Proven experience writing tests using automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium or Cypress – must
- Proven experience working with UI/UX tools such as Figma as a reference for UI testing - must
- Proficiency in Python or JavaScript for test automation and scripting – advantage
- Familiarity with AI tools and MCP servers to boost testing and documentation productivity – advantage
- Experience with API testing and performance testing tools – advantage
