About The Position

Jifiti Patorai AB (‘Jifiti’) is looking for a Swedish Risk & Compliance Officer/MLRO to join our Team and to lead Jifiti’s Risk & Compliance framework in Sweden. This position is responsible for drafting and implementing a Risk & Compliance Framework to ensure that Jifiti complies on an ongoing basis and keeps abreast with all applicable laws and regulations for e-money institutions in Sweden and the EU.

A strong knowledge of European regulators and regulations is required, as well as experience with AML and KYC requirements.

The Risk & Compliance Officer will play a vital role in monitoring the day-to-day operations in the region and implementing appropriate controls in place to meet the applicable laws, the regulators guidelines and Jifiti’s standards. This role will be required to identify, assess and mitigate Financial Crime risks.


  • Further develop and implement Jifiti’s Risk & Compliance framework (including reporting structures) ensuring that it is in line with relevant Swedish laws and regulations.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in AML/CFT laws, regulations, and industry best practices, and ensuring that Jifiti’s policies and controls are adjusted accordingly.
  • Conduct risk assessments identifying and mitigating risks, including risks related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and other regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that all employees are aware of the compliance requirements and that they understand their responsibilities.
  • Lead and execute (compliance) monitoring reviews.


  • At least three (3) years of relevant audit, compliance and risk working experience in the financial service industry, experience in an international environment is a plus.
  • University Masters degree or recognized industry accreditation in compliance, business, finance or law and a strong business sense.
  • In-depth knowledge of European regulatory requirements applicable to the Financial industry, experience working with the Swedish regulator is a plus
  • Fluent in Swedish and proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
